Interactive map of cooperation projects supported by France in Cameroon

Discover the new interactive map of cooperation projects supported by France Cameroun !

Conducted by the Cooperation and Cultural Action Service of the Embassy in connection with the various players of the team France (French Agency for Development, research institutes (IRD, CIRAD), decentralized cooperation, French Office of Immigration and integration, etc.), this card allows you a glance view of all cooperation projects currently supported by France in Cameroon, to know the objectives, amounts, and their exact locations. Maybe there’s one near you? A search engine allows to visualize the data by keyword, for example by typing the name of your town or the area of ​​intervention that interests you.

A color code defined each intervention sector (agriculture, environment, health, etc.). Symbols differ according to whether the projects are carried out locally (bubble) in different parts of the national territory (small round) or controlled centrally (square with star around Yaoundé). To view all the projects, it is advisable to use the full screen and zoom in on areas of high concentration, especially in large urban centers. This card is meant to be as current as possible. It will be regularly updated based on new projects implemented and projects whiich has reached end of life will be removed from the map.

This map reflects the efforts of visibility and transparency of French aid in Cameroon. According to the latest report from the OECD, France provides 48% of the net bilateral aid received by Cameroon. This card also echoes the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development to better map out our official development assistance in poor priority countries.
